  14. I am despirate! I just bought a sportster 33.6 modem. I can only 
  15. get between a 9600-14.4 connection! i have never gotton above a 
  16. 14.4 connection. I am sure the modems i have dialed into are 28.8 
  17. 's at least. I have my port speed and modem speed set to 115,200. 
  18. And i dont have an irq or com port conflict. I am using win95 and 
  19. the modem is plug and play. i have tried using the modem with and 
  20. without the jumpers and there is no dofference in paformance. if 
  21. anyone has any suggestions please email them to me please. even if 
  22. you post them please also email them to me because i dont always 
  23. have access to newsgroups but i always have acces to email.
